We hope you'll register at the link provided on the home page (just hit the back arrow or log in later to do so) https://acsef.zfairs.com. Teacher registration is free and easy!

Did you know that you can accomplish both Common Core AND the Next Generation Science Standards with ONE ASSIGNMENT - YES - Take a look at the graphic organizer at this link NGSS chart.pdf

By registering we'll be able to share tips and tricks to managing your student science fair projects, provide up to date fair information, get the support you may need from our trained teacher liaisons and be able to track your student's application status.

**If you teach at a Title 1 school:

- your students will be exempt from registration fees ($25.00 per person).  To do so ask your school Principal to email us at alamedacountysef@gmail.com  to verify the Title 1 status.  We'll then provide your school with a code so that when the students select your school from the drop down menu - they will automatically be exempted from registration fees.

- also there are a limited number of mini school science fair grants we can offer to purchase science fair related supplies for those students who are registered.  Contact us with "Title 1 mini grant" in the subject line at alamedacountysef@gmail.com

**If you teach at a school that intends to pay the registration fees for each of the participating students:

- your student will be exempted from registration fees ($25 per person) and the school will be billed.  To do so ask your school Principal to email us at alamedacountysef@gmail.com to verify the school will accept billing and make payment for the registering students.  We'll then provide your school with a code so that when the students select your school from the drop down menu - they will automatically be exempted from registration fees and the school will be billed on or about February 25th.

Other helpful links:

*Pathways to registration to ACSEF - There are 4 pathways dependent upon whether your school selects the projects that move on to ACSEF or not. And whether or not the student project needs our safety committee's approval of their project. PATHWAYS

*Project Proposal Summary (400 ords or less) 400 word or less project description includes.pdf

*Sample project timeline relative to ACSEF due dates for registration and applications. Sample Timeline 2018.pdf
